Our proprietary FIDO Score™ measures the level of risk a property manager may assume for housing a specific household pet and its owner. The FIDO Score ranges between 5-paw down (lowest risk) to 0-paw (highest risk) and is included with each Household Pet Profile we screen at PetScreening. (Note: Assistance animals do not receive a FIDO Score.)
Several factors are weighed when calculating the FIDO Score, including, but not limited to:
Type of Animal
Breed
Age
Weight
Gender
Vaccination History
Behavioral Traits
Pet Owner's Care
After a Household Pet Profile is activated, we send all of the pet's information, exactly as the pet owner provided, to the housing provider along with the FIDO Score.
How a housing provider applies the FIDO Score results to their pet policies is their decision and should be discussed directly with that housing provider.
